About
I have been an Associate Professor of Education at Bucknell University since 2007. My research focuses on the influence of social class on the school experiences of early learners, multicultural education at the collegiate level, and service learning pedagogy. My work has been published in Educational Studies, Teachers College Record, Emotion, Space and Society, and Educational Theory and she has published several book chapters in various edited volumes. I served as the secretary for the American Educational Studies Association (AESA) from 2001-2004, and currently serve the organization as an Executive Committee Member. I live in Lewisburg, PA, where I camp and ride bikes with my husband, with whom I co-author, and our three children, Jacob, Ruby and Benjamin.
